Rua Resort is a boutique hotel set atop a country hill within 10 minutes drive of the Hamilton’s city centre. Here, the rolling green hills grow into Mt. Pirongia, all within view from the many windows and private balconies of the guest rooms. Hamilton is New Zealand’s largest inland city, and is central to the fertile Waikato region. It has a vibrant city centre, fine dining and entertainment options, and is home to the world famous Hamilton Gardens.
The resort is a 560 square meter mansion estate situated on 21,000 square meter pasture land. Choose from five total guest rooms, each replete with the finest in New Zealand furnishings and decor. The boutique lodge can accommodate up to 10 people or more (we’ve made arrangements for up to 21) for overnight stays or longer home-stays.
We offer bed and breakfast accommodation for travelers looking for something different on New Zealand’s North Island. Your stay at Rua Resort includes a hot country style or generous continental breakfast. You have access to a spacious study, a lounge, an entertainment room, the fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, and other concierge services can be provided. We can arrange hotel shuttles to and from both Auckland and Hamilton International Airports.
