Rua Room
The Rua Room is our master suite, and our finest accommodation. It features a pillow-top super king bed with luxurious bedding, balconies on both sides of the room offering views to both Mt. Pirongia and the surrounding pastureland. His and her walk-in closets, a writers desk, and a balcony seating to sit and enjoy an evening beverage as the sun sets behind Pirongia. Plus all other standard accommodations.
The en suite bathroom has heated floors and mirrors, his and her vanities, a powerful shower and a deep relaxing tub.
Honeymoon Package
The Rua Room’s elegance makes it popular amongst those celebrating the first house of their new marriage together. We offer a special package for honeymooners that includes burning candles on arrival, chocolate covered strawberries, scattered rose petals, a bottle of wine, and more.
Rua Resort is also the closest upscale lodging to the Hamilton LDS temple. We’re happy to substitute a sparkling juice or cider in place of the wine.
Kowhai Room
The Kowhai Room is our second largest, and sleeps three comfortably. It is arranged with a comfortable queen bed and a super single, making it perfect for traveling families.
Though the Kowhai Room does not have a private balcony, it’s large windows provide an excellent view of the back paddocks and surrounding farmland.
It comes with all standard room features, including a television set and dvd player.
Bathroom accommodation for guests staying the Kowhai Room shares the upstairs common facilities with the other three guest rooms. The shower room is massive, with two shower heads and a deep relaxing tub.

Karaka Room
The Karaka Room has two comfortable super single beds making it the perfect fit for traveling companions wanting to share accommodation and split costs.
Like the Rua Room, the Karaka Room has a private balcony offering the best possible views of the surrounding farmland, hill country and Mt. Pirongia.
It comes with all standard room features, including a television set and DVD player.

Kikorangi Room
The Kikorangi Room is equipped with two comfortable super single beds with luxurious bedding, making it perfect for traveling companions that would like to share accommodation and cost. It offers lovely views over the back paddock into the surrounding farmland and hill country.
The Kikorangi Room also has a writers desk looking out the corner window making it a great, affordable option for a writer in need of a lengthy respite.
It comes with all standard room features, including a television set and DVD player.
